SARETT MEMBERSHIP. It is time once again to renew your membership in the Sarett Nature Center. Your support is vital to the continued success of our nature center. As you know, Sarett is non-profit and receives no federal, state or local tax support. We depend on contributions, membership, trip and class fees for our entire support! Please take time to renew your membership today! You can renew on line or send a check to Sarett. Family $50, Individual $40. Thank you!

BLACK WOODS. Sarett naturalists have been working along with Boy Scout Troop #623 revamping the trails at the Black Woods. A woodchip trail will take you to a wonderful scenic view of the Paw Paw River. There are several benches for quiet enjoyment of the wonderful big trees in this sanctuary. The Black Woods is a short 10 minute drive from Sarett. (Please call Sarett 927-4832 for directions.) Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and camera.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Sarett is looking for anyone who would like to help with the Butterfly House this spring and summer. We’ll teach you about the butterflies, the butterfly house and gardens and then you can help with this exciting exhibit with school groups and/or visiting guests. We are having docent training on Wednesday, May 10 at 10:00 am. Contact Dianne 927-4832 or dianneb@sarett.com If you can’t come on May 10, call Dianne and we’ll make other arrangements.
SARETT SUMMER CLASSES. Don’t forget to sign up for summer classes for kids. Sarett naturalists have a wonderful array of fun and educational classes designed for kids ages 4 to teenagers. If you need a complete listing, please don’t hesitate to call and we will gladly mail one to you. You can also check out our website: www.sarett.com for the classes.
