Sarett Nature Center is located in Benton Harbor, MI on Benton Center Road, north of Red Arrow Highway. We focus on environmental education, but our nature center is open to the public to enjoy our trails. We also offer live animal displays, a butterfly house during the warm months, a nature play area for kids, cross-country ski rentals, snowshoe rentals, informational displays, naturalist-led natural history trips around the world, and interactive naturalist programs for the whole family throughout the year!
Our main Nature Center building is open to the general public.
COVID-19/MASK UPDATE: On August 12, 2021, the Berrien County Health Department updated their guidelines to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and are recommending all persons wear a mask while indoors in a public building regardless of vaccination status. We will now require all visitors and staff to wear masks while inside the nature center building. Masks are optional outside on our trails. Please help keep our staff and fellow visitors safe. Thank you for your understanding.
