Jasper Pulaski Wildlife Refuge Trip
Join Sarett naturalists for an excursion to Indiana’s Jasper Pulaski Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is well known for its staging tens of thousands of sandhill cranes. Bring a sack supper as we will be staying until dark to watch the cranes fly in to spend the night. Meet at Sarett. Dress warmly. $15/Member, $20/Non-member. Please call to register, (269) 927-4832.

Women in Nature: Animal Drawing

Bob Ross and Rosé
Ages 21 and up. Sarett is teaming up with a local winery for an evening of art and libations as we follow along with a seasonal Bob Ross tutorial, looking out over the happy trees in our Great Room. Space is limited so please call (269) 927-4832 to register. Members/$38, Non-members/$45. (Price includes one glass of wine and take-home canvas. Additional glasses may be purchased at time of program.)

Lavender Adventurers: Candle Making
Learn how to make a beeswax candle and then venture out to the trails with Sarett naturalists to collect materials to decorate your own natural candle stand. Please call (269) 927-4832 to register. Members/ $10, Non-Members/ $15. This outdoors group is partnered with Outcenter Southwest Michigan for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
Wreath Making Workshop
Nothing beats the smell of evergreens in the crisp winter air. Create your own wreath for the holiday season. Greens, tools, wire and ribbon/bows will be provided. Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count
Birdwatchers are needed! We are looking for volunteers to count birds as a part of Audubon's annual Christmas Bird Count event to create a census of birds. Volunteers will cover a small area in the official count area and drive around to tally up all the birds they see. To volunteer, please call (269) 927-4832 or email Mike at mikem@sarett.org.

Sarett Scouts of America Fun Day
Today we are offering both the Bear: Fur, Feathers, and Ferns or Webelo: Into the Woods programs for individual Cub Scouts from any troop to come out and complete. Space is limited. Registration required, please call (269) 927-4832. $10/scout. Scouts of any level are welcome to join. A Sarett Fun Day patch will be awarded to all scouts who complete the day's requirements but the merit badge patches must be acquired on your own.

Sarett's Spooky Halloween!
A spooky adventure will be had by all ages as you take a stroll through the trails and visit some spooky crafts, game stations, and other fun activities. Visit the scary trail if you want a fright! Tickets should be purchased in advance to participate in this Halloween event. $6.00/ person age 2 and older.

Learn how to identify the rocks and fossils of Michigan and then travel to Pilgrim Haven Natural Area, near South Haven, for some of the best rock hunting in Southwest Michigan. Sarett can provide transportation to Pilgrim Haven and back. Bring a sack lunch, rock collecting container, and be prepared for the weather. Please call (269) 927-4832 to register. Sarett 60th Year Celebration Paw Paw River Paddle

Explore the Paw Paw River between Sarett’s main property and the Brown Sanctuary. You will start this two hour paddle by putting in at River Tower and taking out at Brown Sanctuary. Along the way you will see huge sycamores and silver maple trees. Cardinal flower will be in full bloom too.
