Sarett Nature Stewards Weekly Meetup
This program is a way to experience Sarett in a whole different way. By being a nature steward you are helping Sarett but you also gain a sense of well-being. Spring Stampede 5k Run/Walk
Join us for our annual 5k trail run and walk on Saturday, April 5th, 2025. We also have a one mile kids fun run that starts at 8:30 am. Registration fees are: $1 for the kids one mile fun run, $20 for the 5k run and walk before March 14th, $25 for the 5k from March 15th to April 3rd, and $30 for the 5k from April 4th to 5th.
You can register online HERE or you can mail in or drop off your registration form.
Printable forms will also be available. To guarantee your race shirt, you must register by March 21, 2025.

Lavender Adventurers: Social Hike

Rock Hunting 101
Back by popular demand! Learn how to identify the rocks and fossils of Michigan and then travel to Pilgrim Haven Natural Area, near South Haven, for some of the best rock hunting in Southwest Michigan. Sarett can provide transportation to Pilgrim Haven and back. Bring a sack lunch, rock collecting container, and be prepared for the weather. This is a VERY popular program and space is limited. Ukrainian Eggs for Beginners
Learn the art of egg dyeing known as pysanky, or Ukrainian Eggs. This delicate process uses special tools to draw on eggs with beeswax between rounds of dyeing the eggs in vibrant colors. Participants will be able to complete one egg, available the weekend after the program, after the eggs have been sealed. This program is for adults only. Space is limited. Indoor Mini Golf at the Nature Center
Join us for a day of fun and food by participating in our indoor mini golf outing. Teams of 4 can sign up for a tee time HERE or by calling (269) 927-4832 Ext 101. Tee times are every 45 minutes starting at Noon and ending at 7:30 pm. We will have the food, snacks, and drinks available at the Watering Hole snack bar. Prizes will be given for a hole in one and for best golf attire. Cost is $30/member team of four and $35/non-member team of four. Additional team members may be added for $5/person.

Interested in making your own maple syrup? Join Sarett naturalists as we show you the basics of going from maple tree to delicious gold in a bottle! Join us for a winter bird outing to where the birds are—it could be Allegan State Game Area for eagle watching or to Muskegon for a variety of birds. Plan to make a day of it.
