Event: Botany for Beginners


Thursdays in April- Starting on April 8, 6:00-8:00 PM – Have you ever been curious about a wildflower but frustrated trying to figure it out on your own? This four week course, taught by Director Nate Fuller, is designed to give you the tools to identify our local wildflowers while learning about their interesting natural history. We will use the Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide as our main text to learn the basics of plant identification. Each session will include in-the-field practice in identification to get you primed for peak wildflower seasons in the coming months. For ages 16 and up.
