November and December 2019 Announcements

Cross-country ski and snowshoe rental will be available as soon as there is enough snow! We have ski equipment for ages 5 and up. The cost for members is $7/adult and $4/child. The cost for  non-members is $10/adult and $5/child plus any admission fees for non-members. Alternatively, snowshoes can be a great way to get out in the winter too. Cost is $5/person plus any admission fees for non-members.

Trips for 2020: We are excited to announce more upcoming trips for 2020. Below is a list of all the trips planned for next year and their dates. If you are interested in receiving an itinerary for any of these trips, please call 269-927-4832 or email sarett@sarett.org. We will automatically send you an itinerary when it is ready.

Membership Perk: For the month of November, Sarett members can enjoy the Forever Curious Museum in Fennville, MI. This is a great place for children to explore indoors. When you visit, please present your membership card to the staff at the museum. If you have lost or misplaced your membership card you can stop by Sarett and ask for another card.

Sarett’s Gift Shop – December – Please remember Sarett for those last minute holiday gifts. We have many locally made nature related items like honey and maple syrup.  Check them out for a unique gift idea. Nature books, t-shirts, bird feeders, and bird seed make great gifts too. Sarett members receive 10% off gift store purchases during the month of December.

2019 Membership Renewals: The fourth quarter membership renewal reminders have gone out. If you receive a reminder notice in the mail please take the time to support Sarett. Membership is a vital part of the nature center’s budget. If you have not renewed, please take a moment to do so. Thank you to all who renewed their memberships so far. It is greatly appreciated!

Star of the Month: Each month we highlight one of our animals, or animal species, as “Stars of the Month” on a board by our discovery room. In addition to an activity families can do to learn more about the “Stars of the Month”, we thank those who have made contributions to their care the previous year. When you visit this fall please take a moment to visit the      “Stars of the Month”:
