January/February 2018 Announcements

DON’T FORGET!  Don’t forget membership support is vital to Sarett Nature CenterThe nature center staff provides quality environmental programs to over 25,000 school age children each year and we need your support.  The nature center is a 1000 acre wildlife sanctuary with over 8 miles of maintained walking and skiing trails.  Sarett provides weekend programs including guest speakers, naturalist led hikes and nature programs.  If you have not renewed your membership please take time to do so.  Your membership support keeps the trails maintained, the building opened, staffed and available to school groups and to the general public. We need your membership support.  Thank you to all who have joined and renewed your membership.

ROTARY GRANT.  The St. Joseph-Benton Harbor Rotary Club Foundation provided us with the means to add a new raptor cage, buy some needed raptor supplies and redo our Interactive and Imagination Room. Look for two new Great Horned Owls and a Broad-winged Hawk coming soon and watch for some neat changes happening in the play room.
