BUTTERFLY HOUSE UPDATE. You still have time to visit Sarett’s Butterfly House. We plan to keep the butterflies flying until the end of September (weather permitting). Please come and enjoy. Please call ahead before visiting to check on the status of the butterflies. Members $2/adult, $1/child, non-members $6/adult, $2/child.

BARN PARTY. September 10, Sunday, 4:00 pm. Mark your calendar to join us for this annual fund raising event. This gala event includes a silent auction, great food and good friends. Missed getting an invitation, call us, we would be happy to send one. Call Sarett 927-4832 for more information.
COUNTRY FAIR. October 14, Saturday, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. A great afternoon for the whole family. A huge rummage sale, baked goods, wagon rides, pony rides, face painting, games for the kids and lunch at the country kitchen. Sarett is asking for clean, saleable rummage which can be dropped off anytime starting September 15. Grandma’s Country Kitchen needs donations of baked goods and desserts. CAN YOU HELP SARETT? We are asking members and friends to donate their gently used nature books for our used Nature Book Sale, November 18 & 19. Please, no magazines. PATAGONIA. November 3-16, 2017. Patagonia is an extremely vast and diverse region, with scenery ranging from dramatic mountain formations to flat barren pampas and expansive ice fields. 2018 NATURAL HISTORY TRIPS. Sarett naturalists are planning adventures for 2018. These are the trips we will be working on: Northern Florida, Spring Wildflowers at Turkey Run State Park, Kayaking Up North Weekend, Alaska, Badlands/Black Hills, Ontario—Killarney, Algonquin and French River areas, and southern Africa. For 2019, we are already looking at Baja, Yellowstone and Iceland. Let us know if you are interested in any of our trips and we will send a complete itinerary when it is ready.
