Sarett Nature Center is located in Benton Harbor, MI on Benton Center Road, north of Red Arrow Highway. We focus on environmental education, but our nature center is open to the public to enjoy our trails. We also offer live animal displays, a butterfly house during the warm months, a nature play area for kids, cross-country ski rentals, snowshoe rentals, informational displays, naturalist-led natural history trips around the world, and interactive naturalist programs for the whole family throughout the year!
Our main Nature Center Building is closed at this time, but our trails remain open to the public. There is one porta potty available by the trailhead. The Butterfly House is open to the public for the 2020 season and requires reservations. The Butterfly House hours are:
Tuesday-Friday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
